Most popular in the late 1800's this Silk Fringed Card has two sides and
was meant to be hand delivered or sent in an envelope unlike other mailed
"postcards" of those days. Many of these Silk Fringed
Cards came with fancy mailing boxes. One side of the card reads:
"Wishing you many Happy Birthdays". The other side reads:
"With sincere Greetings of a Friend" |

Embossed, Gold Leafed, Cut Out Postcard with a Folding Two Page Card
attached is held together by a Pink Satin Ribbon. The front reads:
"Best Wishes", the next page reads: "Greetings, the middle
page reads: "Sing a Song of Birthdays, Hours of Joy and Bliss, And
may you have full many, Such happy days as this." The last page
has a beautiful colorful picture that shows through to the front in the
Bell.
